Cemetery Style

IMG_4734IMG_4692More pictures from my SF visit last weekend! These shots were taken at our family cemetery,  a beautiful old cemetery in Piedmont that I’ve been visiting for as long as I can remember.  We’ve got grandparents and great aunts and uncles inside and my great-great grandfather outside in the civil war veterans area – separated by North and South.

IMG_4768He was buried here (in the North area) in 1913! The story in my family is that when he learned of Lincoln’s death he wouldn’t get out of bed for a week.

IMG_4770Here’s a pic of me and my mom in our furry jackets.  It was great to spend time together!

IMG_4757My jacket was from an estate sale, my jeans are older Current/Elliott, Banana Republic sweater, vintage belt, estate sale cinnabar bangles, old Newport News lace-up boots from a thrift store (I’m so in love with these boots!) and a vintage flask necklace from a garage sale that has someone else’s initials on it.
